Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop 151 single-family dwelling units on approximately 152 acres located on the west side of Shotgun Road/Southwest 154 Avenue, between Southwest 20 Street and Southwest 26 Street/Royal Palm Boulevard in the Town of Davie.

The applicant proposes 151 units, however the development did not require an amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan. Therefore, the development shown on this plat is not subject to Policy 2.16.2 of the Broward County Land Use Plan.
