MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution directing the County Administrator to publish Notice of Public Hearing to be held on March 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 422 of Governmental Center East, to consider transmittal to designated State review agencies of a proposed amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan Natural Resource Map Series (PCNRM 26-1) to update the Wetlands Map, as an amendment to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan, the title of which is as follows:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, TRANSMITTING TO DESIGNATED STATE AGENCIES A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE BROWARD COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; UPDATING THE WETLANDS MAP OF THE NATURAL RESOURCE MAP SERIES OF THE BROWARD COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

It is necessary to schedule a public hearing of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners prior to transmittal of an amendment to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan.
What Action Accomplishes
The Resolution directs the County Administrator to set a public hearing for March 3, 2026, to consider transmittal to designated State review agencies of proposed Broward County Land Use Plan amendment PCNRM 26-1, pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended.
