Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves a modification to previously approved conditions subject to staff recommendations ensuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances

 

This plat is located on 8.35 acres on northwest corner of Southwest 45 Street and Ravenswood Road, in the City of Dania Beach. The applicant is requesting to delete condition number 6, 7, and 8, approved by the Board on April 18, 1989, which required the construction or security of turn lane improvements, paving markings and signs, and sidewalk requirements. The request further seeks to release any bond associated with those improvements.

 

The request has been reviewed and approved by Highway Construction and Engineering Division, (Exhibit 4).

 

The Development Review Report is attached (Exhibit 1).
