Why Action is Necessary
Section 20.31(b)(3), Broward County Administrative Code, requires that the Board of County Commissioners approve all state and federal grant agreements.

What Action Accomplishes
This grant will provide additional funds to implement a shore power pilot project at a single cruise terminal to determine and verify the best shore power arrangement for cruise vessels at all eight Port Everglades cruise berths.
