Summary Explanation/Background

THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

 

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop two single-family residences, on approximately 4.8 acres located on the south side of Southwest 48 Street, between Southwest 172 Avenue and Mather Boulevard/Southwest 178 Avenue, in the Town of Southwest Ranches.

 

This development proposed did not require an amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan. Therefore, the development shown on this plat is not subject to Policy 2.16.2 of the Broward County Land Use Plan.

 

The Development Review Report is attached (Exhibit 1).
