Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances

 

This plat is located on 4.4 acres on both east and west sides of State Road A1A / South Ocean Drive between Terra Mar Drive and Southeast 13th Street, in the City of Pompano Beach. The applicant is requesting to delete condition number 2, 3, 4 and 5, requiring the construction and security of certain improvements and release any funds associated with those improvements. The Board approved those conditions on December 4, 2018, and they are no longer applicable.

 

The request has been reviewed by Highway Construction and Engineering Division, (Exhibit 4).

 

The Development Review Report is attached (Exhibit 1).
