Summary Explanation/Background
THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat is located on 42.53 acres on the west side of Flamingo Road/Southwest 124 Avenue, between Country Glen Drive/Southwest 49 Street and Stirling Road, in the Town of Southwest Ranches. Currently, the Plat is restricted to 84,900 square feet of High School use on Parcel A and one (1) detached single family home on Parcel B. The applicant is requesting to amend the note to increase the High School use on Parcel A to 224,419 square feet.
