Summary Explanation/Background

THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT, THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION, AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL PERMITTING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

This item furthers the County Commission goal of “Consistently delivering responsive, efficient, inclusive, and equitable quality services to the public and internal customers while providing a safe community to live, work and visit.”

 

The Public Works and Environment Services Department and its Housing and Urban Planning Division and Environmental Permitting Division provide a variety of development and environmental review services to persons in Broward County. It is necessary to update the fees in the Administrative Code for their services to be consistent with the current cost of providing such services.
