MOTION TO AUTHORIZE County Administrator to negotiate and execute a First Amendment to the standard form Participation Agreement and Regional Interlocal Agreement between Broward County and each of the Municipal Participants in Broward County's Regional Consolidated E-911 Communications System, in substantially the form attached as Exhibit 1, subject to review by the County Attorney's Office as to legal form.

B. MOTION TO AUTHORIZE County Administrator to negotiate and execute Interlocal Agreement for Cooperative Fire, Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, Special Operations and Emergency/Disaster Relief Response through Mutual Aid, Automatic Aid and Closest Unit Response in substantially the form attached as Exhibit 2, subject to review and approval by the Office of the County Attorney.
ACTION: (T-10:45 AM) Approved.

Why Action is Necessary
A. Board approval is required to delegate authority to the County Administrator to approve an amendment to an interlocal agreement.
B. Authorizes the County Administrator to execute agreements that may be necessary or appropriate to implement an Automatic Aid agreement between the County, the Broward Sheriff's Office and Participating Municipalities.
What Action Accomplishes
A. Provides authority to the County Administrator to circulate, finalize, and execute the First Amendment to the standard form Participation Agreement between Broward County and each municipality participating in the Broward County Regional Consolidated E-911 Communications System.
