MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution directing the County Administrator to publish Notice of Public Hearing to be held on November 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 422 of Governmental Center East, to consider enactment of an Ordinance adopting a proposed amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan Natural Resource Map Series (PCNRM 24-3), to update the Environmentally Sensitive Lands Map within the City of Dania Beach (Commission District 6), as an amendment to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan, the title of which is as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE LANDS MAP OF THE NATURAL RESOURCE MAP SERIES WITHIN THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Why Action is Necessary
It is necessary to schedule a public hearing of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners to be held subsequent to receipt of a recommendation from the Broward County Planning Council prior to adoption of an amendment to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan.
What Action Accomplishes
The Resolution directs the County Administrator to set a public hearing for November 13, 2025, to consider adoption of proposed amendment PCNRM 24-3, which is an amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan Natural Resource Map Series, pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended.
