Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat to develop 25,000 square feet of industrial use on approximately seven acres, located on the west side of Andrews Avenue, between Southwest 8 Street and Southwest 12 Street, in the City of Pompano Beach.
The Highway Construction and Engineering Division has recommended a waiver of right turn lane construction requirements pursuant to Section 5-182.5 of the Broward County Land Development Code.
