THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ REAL PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION AND THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The Broward County ("County") Construction Management Division requested the assistance of the Real Property and Real Estate Development Division to facilitate the granting of two perpetual, nonexclusive underground utility easements (collectively, the "Easements") to Florida Power & Light Company ("FP&L"). The Easements affect a portion of County-owned property located at 1850-1950 Eisenhower Boulevard in the City of Fort Lauderdale (identified by Folio No. 504214360010). The County is currently constructing a high-rise hotel adjacent to the Broward County Convention Center.
