Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop two single family residences on approximately seven acres located on the north side of Southwest 66 Street/Luray Road between Southwest 142 Avenue/Hancock Road and Southwest 148 Avenue/Volunteer Road, in the Town of Southwest Ranches.
The proposed development of two single family residences is consistent with the permitted uses under the effective land use plan. As such, it is not subject to Policy 2.16.2 of the Broward County Land Use Plan.
