A. MOTION TO NOTE FOR THE RECORD County Administrator executed a fourth Modification to Subgrant Agreement Between the Division of Emergency Management and Broward County ("Subgrant Agreement") to reinstate and extend the terms of the Subgrant Agreement through December 31, 2026, to allow for completion of the retrofitting of the North and Central Homeless Assistance Centers' ("HAC") structures and for the installation of emergency generators and to maintain eligibility for grant funding.
B. MOTION TO REAUTHORIZE County Administrator or her written designee to execute any future amendments, change orders, or other documents required by the Division of Emergency Management ("DEM"), or any successor agencies, related to the Subgrant Agreement, provided that such documents do not impose any additional material financial risk or obligation on the County, and are subject to review and approval as to legal sufficiency by the County Attorney's Office. Why Action is Necessary
MOTION A: Pursuant to the Board's delegation of authority on May 7, 2019, to execute contracts, amendments, work authorizations, grant applications, grant awards, and other legal documents relating to 2019 hurricane and disaster planning, notice to the Board of any action taken pursuant to the delegation must be placed on the next available agenda after such action.
MOTION B: Absent delegated authority, Board of County Commissioners' approval is required under Broward County Administrative Code, Section 20.31(b)(3), for the execution of all grant agreements and amendments.
