Why Action is Necessary
The addition of surtax funds will be used to restore the project's scope of work to its original intent, extend the project timeline, and allow for additional necessary activities and deliverables.

What Action Accomplishes
The action allows the Low Stress Multimodal Master Plan to seamlessly integrate into the federally funded Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Broward Safety Action Plan. Further, this action fulfills the original intent of the project's Scope of Work, including robust public participation and engagement necessary for its intended longevity.
