B. MOTION TO DIRECT Office of the County Attorney to prepare a Resolution or Ordinance, as applicable, to implement the recommendations for the County Commission's consideration and approval.

Why Action is Necessary
Article II, Section 2.09.F, Broward County Charter, mandates all county advisory boards, committees, authorities, and agencies to be reviewed every four years.
What Action Accomplishes
A. Approves the retention of county advisory boards, committees, authorities, agencies, commissions, councils, and task forces that serve the public interest and are cost justified.
B. Approves modification and/or sunsetting of specified advisory boards, committees, authorities, agencies, commissions, councils, and task forces.
C. Directs certain changes be made to specified advisory boards, committees, authorities, and agencies as determined by the sunset review process.

THE OFFICE OF INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.
Pursuant to Article II, Section 2.09.F, Broward County Charter, the Office Intergovernmental Affairs ("OIA") conducted a review of 62 boards, committees, authorities, and agencies ("boards") subject to sunset review.
