B. MOTION TO APPROVE Reconciliation Change Order for Unilateral Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $471,230. (Commission District 9)

Why Action is Necessary
A. In accordance with Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.56, Change Orders - Construction Contracts, Broward County Board of County Commissioners ("Commission") approval is required for a change order allowance of more than 5%.
B. In accordance with Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.56, Change Orders - Construction Contracts, Commission approval is required for change orders of $250,000 or more.
What Action Accomplishes
A. Provides for an increase to the change order allowance to 10% of the contract amount.
B. Provides funding for the additional scope of Reconciliation Change Order for Estimated Unilateral Change Order No.3.
