The Broward County Board of County Commissioners must formally appoint a Director, Alternate, and Second Alternate to serve on the Board of Directors for the Broward League of Cities.

Allows the Board of County Commissioners to determine which Commissioners will serve on the Board of Directors for the Broward League of Cities.

Summary Explanation/Background
The Broward League of Cities bylaws offer appointments of County Commissioners as a Director, an Alternate, and a Second Alternate to attend and vote at any Board of Directors or General Membership meetings of the Broward League of Cities. Those appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to the Board of Directors for the Broward League of Cities serve a one-year term which expires each year on the date of the installation dinner. The term of this year's appointments will commence on May 30, 2026, and end in May 2027. Exhibit 1 is the attached form that will be filled out after action is taken by the Board.
