MOTION TO APPROVE Agreement between Broward County and CTS Engineering, Inc., for Continuing Consultant Services for Roadway and Traffic Projects, Request for Proposals (RFP) No. PNC2129978P1, for the Broward County Highway Construction and Engineering Division, in a maximum not-to-exceed amount of $9,000,000 for the initial three-year term, and authorize the Director of Purchasing to renew the Agreement for up to two additional one-year terms, for a potential five-year total maximum not-to-exceed amount of $15,000,000.

Why Action is Necessary
Motions A and B: In accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.47, Award and Execution Authority, the Commission shall make all awards, and authorize the execution of the associated contracts, with a value of more than $500,000, inclusive of the value of any renewals or extensions.
What Action Accomplishes
Motions A and B: Provides professional engineering services under a continuing agreement for the planning, project development, design and construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services, as necessary, for improvements to roadway and traffic projects in Broward County, Florida.
