MOTION TO APPROVE First Amendment to Participating Addendum Pursuant to GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Master Agreement for Information Technology Software with Geonexus Technologies, L.L.C. (No. 47QTCA20D00BQ), Agreement No. TEC2124595A1, for the Water and Wastewater Services Division, to authorize up to three additional five-year optional renewal periods, and to increase the threshold amount of the agreement by $355,765, for a total not-to-exceed threshold amount of $500,000 through June 23, 2040; and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute the same.

Why Action is Necessary
In accordance with Broward County Procurement Code Section 21.53, Duration of Contracts, a County contract shall not exceed five years in duration without the express approval of the Board.
What Action Accomplishes
Provides for an extension and additional funding for the continuation of acquiring the GeoWorx software to synchronize the County's existing data between Geographic Information System to Asset Management System for the Water and Wastewater Services Division.

THE PURCHASING DIVISION AND THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER SERVICES DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This Participating Addendum provides for technical and support services to reliably synchronize the County's existing data between Geographic Information System (GIS) and Asset Management System (Maximo).
