MOTION TO AUTHORIZE County Administrator to execute a grant agreement between Broward County (acting by and through its Broward County Aviation Department) and the State of Florida Department of Management Services for a Florida Local Government Cybersecurity Grant, subject to review for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney, pursuant to which the Broward County Aviation Department will receive licenses, services, and training, through State selected providers, for cybersecurity solutions for Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport; and to take all administrative and budgetary actions necessary for implementation of same.

THE AVIATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This action authorizes the County Administrator to execute the grant agreement with the State of Florida Department of Management Services.
The Broward County Aviation Department ("BCAD") applied for the Florida Local Government Cybersecurity Grant ("Grant Program") administered by the Florida Digital Service in support of cybersecurity efforts at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport ("FLL"). On May 17, 2023, BCAD was notified that its grant proposal had been selected for participation in the Grant Program and was provided a grant agreement, which is required to be executed by June 13, 2023.
