Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat to develop 15,000 square feet of industrial use on approximately 3.2 acres, located on the north side of Martin Luther King Boulevard, between Northwest 13 Avenue and the CSX Railroad, in the City of Pompano Beach.
The Highway Construction and Engineering Division has recommended a waiver of the right turn lane construction requirements pursuant to Section 5-182.5 of the Broward County Land Development Code.
