Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (Broward County Land Development Code) requires plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

 

This plat is located on 5 acres on the west side of Military Trail/Northwest 9 Avenue, between Southwest 15 Street and Northwest 49 Court/Green Road, in the City of Deerfield Beach. The plat is restricted to 27,820 square feet of Church use. Daycare/Preschool use are not permitted without the approval of the Board of County Commissioners who shall review and address these uses for increased impacts. The applicant is requesting to amend the note on the face of the plat to 11,320 square feet of Church and 13,000 square feet of child daycare use.
