We have conducted an unannounced observation and cash count at the Water and Wastewater Services Division (WWS).
Our objectives were to determine whether cash collections for our observation date of September 2, 2026, were completely and accurately counted and recorded and to determine whether appropriate internal controls, safeguards, and policies and procedures were followed during the period of our observation on September 2, 2026.
We conclude that cash collections were completely and accurately counted and recorded for our observation date of September 2, 2026, and that appropriate internal controls, safeguards, and policies and procedures were followed during the period of our observation. Our audit did not disclose policies, procedures and practices that could be improved.
We appreciate the cooperation and assistance provided by WWS personnel.
