VACCINES - COMMISSIONER RYAN
ACTION: (T-12:47 PM) Commissioner Ryan asked County Administrator Bertha Henry to expound on the ability to increase daily vaccinations in Broward County. (Refer to minute for full discussion.)
In response to Commissioner Ryan, Ms. Henry stated that she believes that Broward County has the capacity to vaccinate 80 percent of Broward County’s population over the age of 16 by the end of June of 2021. (Refer to minutes for full discussion.)
In addition, Ms. Henry referenced an upcoming agenda item relative to vaccinations and routine sites for vaccinations, as well as mobile popups under the auspices of the Health Department. Further, Ms. Henry expressed hope for federal assistance. (Refer to minutes for full discussion.)
