Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Housing and Urban Planning Division has received a request to vacate and annul a 15-foot-wide utility easement lying within the Paradise Properties plat, as recorded in Plat Book 158, Page 7, of the Official Records of Broward County, Florida, generally located north of Manatee Isles Drive/Southwest 36 Street and west of Southwest 196 Avenue, in the City of Weston. Vacating these easements will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
The City of Weston adopted Resolution No. 2026-51 on April 20, 2026, granting approval of this vacation.
Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the vacation of the subject easement.
