MOTION TO APPROVE Agreements between Broward County and (1) CDM Smith, Inc. and (2) CTS Engineering, Inc., for General Planning and Consultant Services for BCT (FTA), Request for Proposal (RFP) No. TRN2130715P1, for the Broward County Transportation Department, for the initial three-year term, and two additional one-year renewal terms, in an aggregate maximum not-to-exceed amount collectively between both Agreements of $25,000,000.

Why Action is Necessary
In accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.47, Award and Execution Authority, the Board shall make all awards, and authorize the execution of the associated agreement, with a value of more than $500,000, inclusive of the value of any renewals or extensions.
What Action Accomplishes
Provides general planning consulting services to support the Transportation Department’s evaluation and planning needs for corridors and routes throughout Broward County on an as-needed basis.
