Summary Explanation/Background

We conducted an audit of Living Wage Compliance for the Agreement with MCJ Professional Cleaning Services for Janitorial Services for Various County Facilities (RFP #R1214808P15) (Agreement).

 

The objectives of our audit were to determine whether the contractor is compliant with the living wage requirements for the Agreement, and to determine whether the Contract Administrator’s procedures and controls over contract compliance with the living wage requirements are adequate.

 

Except as noted in our report, we conclude that the contractor is compliant with the living wage requirements for the Agreement, and that the Contract Administrator’s procedures and controls over contract compliance with the living wage requirements are adequate. Opportunities for Improvement are included in the report.

 

We appreciate the cooperation and assistance provided by the Facilities Management Division, Port Everglades Department, Office of Regional Communications and Technology, Purchasing Division, and MCJ Professional Cleaning Services throughout our audit process.
