Summary Explanation/Background
The Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) operates a Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC). BSO desires to obtain access to certain real-time video feeds at County facilities for use at the RTCC when exigent circumstances at or near a County facility present an immediate need for law enforcement or fire safety personnel to respond.

The ILA addresses the understanding by both parties in connection with access to real-time live video feeds and describes the terms under which BSO may access the videos and the limited permitted uses of such videos. The ILA allows for the inclusion of additional County sites at any time by written approval of the County Administrator and BSO. In addition, the County Administrator may remove County sites at any time upon written notice. The initial term of the ILA is two years, and the ILA may be renewed for consecutive two-year terms upon written approval by both BSO and the County Administrator.
