Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop five single-family homes on approximately ten acres located on the northwest corner of Mather Boulevard/Southwest 178 Avenue and Stirling Road, in the Town of Southwest Ranches.
The development did not require amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan. Therefore, the development shown on this plat is not subject to Policy 2.16.2 of the Broward County Land Use Plan.
