Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (“Land Development Code”) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves a plat note amendment subject to staff recommendations and conditions ensuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Land Development Code.

Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

 

This plat is located on 1.4 acres at the Northeast corner of McNab Road/Southeast 15th Street and Cypress Road, in the City of Pompano Beach. This plat is restricted to 7,000 square feet of bank use. The applicant is requesting to amend the note on the face of the plat to be restricted to 7,000 square feet of a restaurant with a drive-thru.

 

The Development Review Report is attached, (Exhibit 1).
