MOTION TO APPROVE Three Party Escrow Agreement between Broward County, the Florida Department of Transportation, and the State of Florida, Department of Financial Services, Division of Treasury (Escrow Agent), providing for the County to deposit the total estimated cost of $14,472 into an escrow account to fund construction of fiber optic conduit infrastructure along the SR-870/Commercial Boulevard Bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway. Why Action is Necessary
A. and B. Board of County Commissioners’ approval is required to enter into legal agreements with the Florida Department of Transportation.
What Action Accomplishes
Provides funding from Broward County to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for construction of fiber optic conduit infrastructure along the SR-870/Commercial Boulevard Bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway to be included as part of FDOT’s construction project.
Establishes an escrow account with the State of Florida, Department of Financial Services, Division of Treasury for County‘s payment to FDOT for the construction of County’s fiber optic conduit infrastructure along the SR-870/Commercial Boulevard Bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway.
