THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

This item supports the County Commission's Connected Community Goal of "Cooperatively Creating an Efficient and Accessible Regional Intermodal Transportation Network".

Broward County Transit (BCT)'s Paratransit service, known as TOPS, provides demand response transportation for eligible individuals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the County's non-ADA programs. The service relies heavily on a centralized call center to manage rider interactions, including trip reservations, cancellations, eligibility inquiries, customer service support, and operational coordination with service providers.
