Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions.

The plat is located on approximately 2.64 acres, on the east side of State Road 7/U.S. 441, between Washington Street and Dewey Street, in the City of Hollywood. The applicant is requesting to amend the non-vehicular access line (NVAL) by modifying the existing access to be a 50-foot opening centered approximately 203 feet west of the east plat limits, along Washington Street. This opening is restricted to right turns only. The existing NVAL along State Road 7/U.S. 441 is to remain as is.

The request has been reviewed by Highway Construction and Engineering Division (Exhibit 4).

This request accompanies a proposed note amendment application for the plat.

The Development Review Report is attached (Exhibit 1).
