MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution directing the County Administrator to publish Notice of Public Hearing to be held on September 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 422 of Governmental Center East, to receive public input and adoption of a proposed Resolution, the title of which is as follows:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE BROWARD COUNTY 2026-2029 TITLE VI PROGRAM UPDATE; AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BY THE FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This item supports the Board's Connected Community Goal of " Cooperatively Delivering an Efficient and Accessible Regional Intermodal Transportation Network" and its Accountable Government Goal of "Consistently delivering responsive, efficient, inclusive, and equitable quality services to the public and internal customers while providing a safe community to live, work and visit."
