Summary Explanation/Background

THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT, THE ACCOUNTING DIVISON, AND THE PARKS AND RECREATION DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

The Parks and Recreation Division (PRD) requests authorization for 10 employees to travel to Orlando, Florida from September 16 - 18, 2025 to attend the 2025 National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Annual Conference.

 

For more than 50 years, the NRPA Annual Conference has been the premier meeting of the park and recreation community. Annual Conference attendees get an inside look at the latest products and services at the NRPA’s interactive Exhibit Hall, can network with colleagues and experts in the field, and have access to hundreds of continuing education unit (CEU) sessions.
