Board of County Commissioners’ approval is required pursuant to Florida case law for conveyance of interest in property to Broward County.

Summary Explanation/Background

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

The Resolution (Exhibit 1) will accept a Warranty Deed from West Village, LLC, conveying an irregularly shaped parcel of land located along the west side of NW 7th Avenue, between NW 5th Street and NW 6th Street in the City of Fort Lauderdale (Exhibit 2). The executed Warranty Deed (Exhibit 3) is required to provide adequate sight distance at the adjacent intersections and to facilitate future roadway enhancements.

 

The Resolution and Warranty Deed have been reviewed and approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney.
