THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Urban Planning Division has received a request to vacate, annul, and abandon a 15-foot-wide right-of-way lying within the Florida Fruit Lands Company's Subdivision No. 1 plat, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 17, of the Official Records of Miami-Dade County, and generally located on the north side of Oakland Park Boulevard, east of the Sawgrass Expressway, in the City of Sunrise, Florida. Vacating this right-of-way will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
The City of Sunrise adopted Resolution No. 25-4 on January 15, 2025, granting approval of this vacation. Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the vacation of the su...
