Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (Broward County Land Development Code) requires plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves the plat subject to staff recommendations and conditions ensuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

Summary Explanation/Background

THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

 

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop 79,300 square feet of commercial use and 54,100 square feet of office use on Parcel A, 14,354 square feet of commercial use on Parcel B, 46,446 square feet of commercial use on Parcel C, and 97,100 square feet of commercial use on Parcel D on approximately 8.07 acres located on the southeast corner of Hallandale Beach Boulevard and Federal Highway/U.S. 1, in the City of Hallandale Beach.
