A. MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Broward County, Florida, authorizing the Mayor to execute amendment No. 4 to Public Transportation Grant Agreement (PTGA) with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), under which FDOT will provide additional funding in the amount of $3,650,000 (for a total amount of $9,465,660) for continued operations and maintenance of the Interstate 595 (I-595) Express Bus Service, and authorizing the County Administrator to take necessary administrative actions to implement the amended agreement.
(Per the Thursday Agenda Memorandum, the Board's consideration of the proposed Resolution is based on the revised Resolution and exhibit distributed as Additional Material submitted by Transportation Department.)
ACTION: (T-11:07 AM) Approved Resolution No. 2024-339 as amended with Regular Meeting Additional Material, dated August 22, 2024, submitted at the request of Transportation Department.
VOTE: 8-0. Commissioner Ryan was not present.
B. MOTION TO ADOPT budget Resolution within the Transportation Department's I-595 Express Grant Fund, to appropriate revenue in the amount of $3,650,000, to provide funding for operations and maintenance of the I-595 Express Bus Service.
