Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop a parking lot on approximately 0.73 acres located on the northwest corner of Northwest 17 Court and Northwest 1 Avenue/Andrews Avenue Extension, in the City of Fort Lauderdale.
This plat has a companion plat application, Blue Landings (007-MP-26), to develop 76 garden apartments and 500 square feet of commercial.
The Development Review Report is attached (Exhibit 1).
