Summary Explanation/Background

Section 1-51.3 of the Code sets forth the types and amounts of claims that may be settled by the County Administrator and the County Attorney without requiring Commission action. This item, if approved, would direct the County Attorney’s Office to prepare an Ordinance for future consideration by the Commission to modify that Code provision, including to authorize the County Administrator to approve payment plans for the full recovery of principal amounts owed to the County.
