MOTION TO APPROVE Memorandum of Agreement No. R1193 between Broward County and the City of Miami for the County's participation in the 2024 Miami/Fort Lauderdale Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security through the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management, accepting a grant award in the amount of $321,974; authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute the same; and authorize the County Administrator to execute any documentation required to receive the grant and amendments that do not increase financial obligation on the County, subject to review and approval as to legal sufficiency by the County Attorney's Office, and to take the necessary administrative and budgetary actions for the implementation of the grant award.
