Summary Explanation/Background

Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida Inc. is a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free civil legal services to low-income and otherwise eligible residents of Broward County, including programs to help local senior citizens avoid eviction.

 

District 1 office has remaining Fiscal Year 2025 budgeted funds that it would like to provide to Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida Inc. to fund services to help seniors avoid eviction.  This organization needs financial assistance to continue to carry out those efforts, and it is District 1’s goal to further their mission through this proposed agreement.
