MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution to transmit to designated State review agencies proposed amendments to the Broward County Land Use Plan text (PCT 26-4, PCT 26-5, PCT 26-6, PCT 26-7 and PCT 26-8), pertaining to BrowardNext, as amendments to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan, pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended, the title of which is as follows:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, TRANSMITTING PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE BROWARD COUNTY LAND USE PLAN TEXT OF THE BROWARD COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REGARDING HIGHLIGHTED REGIONAL ISSUES, POLICIES, DEFINITIONS, PERMITTED USES, AND RECOMMENDED PRACTICES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Why Action is Necessary
Pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended, the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, serving as the local governing body, shall transmit to designated State agencies proposed amendments to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan for review.
What Action Accomplishes
This action adopts a Resolution to transmit to designated State review agencies Broward County Land Use Plan text amendments PCT 26-4, PCT 26-5, PCT 26-6, PCT 26-7 and PCT 26-8, pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended.
