Title: A. MOTION TO APPROVE Grant Agreement between The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ("ASPCA") and Broward County in the amount of $25,000 to fund the Animal Care Division's ("Division") voucher program for sterilization services for community cats and owned cats, for the award period starting December 19, 2025, through December 31, 2026; authorize the County Administrator to execute the Grant Agreement, implement acceptance and use of the awarded funds, including the execution of any amendments to the Grant Agreement, provided there is no increase in the County's financial obligations and subject to review and approval for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney, and take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to implement and administer same. B. MOTION TO ADOPT budget Resolution within the Animal Care Grants Fund in the amount of $25,000 to assist in funding the Division's sterilization voucher program.

Why Action is Necessary
A. Section 20.31(b)(3), Broward County Administrative Code, requires that the Broward County Board of County Commissioners approves all grant agreements.

B. Section 129.06(2)(d), Florida Statutes, requires a budget Resolution to recognize unanticipated grant revenue.

What Action Accomplishes
Approves the Grant Agreement between the ASPCA and Broward County; accepts the grant awarded in the amount of $25,000; and authorizes the County Administrator to take all administrative and budgetary actions required for implementation of the grant award.
