A. MOTION TO WAIVE Section 18.5.e.1. of the Broward County Administrative Code, which requires that the Board first direct the County Attorney’s Office to draft a proposed Resolution to Amend the Broward County Administrative Code.

MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution directing the County Administrator to publish Notice of Public Hearing to be held on June 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 422 of Governmental Center East to consider adoption of a proposed Resolution Amending the Broward County Administrative Code, the title of which is as follows:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO PORT EVERGLADES BUSINESS PERMITS; AMENDING SECTIONS 32.38 AND 40.50 OF THE BROWARD COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE (“ADMINISTRATIVE CODE”); AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, INCLUSION IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Concurrently with this item, the Commission is considering an amendment to Sections 22½-1 and 22½-6D of the Broward County Code of Ordinances. This Resolution would amend the Administrative Code to ensure consistency between that proposed amendment and the Administrative Code.
