MOTION TO APPROVE First Amendment to the Technology Products Agreement between Broward County and Simpleview, LLC, as assigned to Granicus, LLC, for Website Design and Hosting Services for Visit Lauderdale, Airport and Seaport (RFP No. GEN2120797P1) (“Agreement”), extending the Agreement by three years until November 18, 2029, with five additional optional one-year renewal periods, and increasing the total contract not-to-exceed amount from $5,126,690 to $17,819,067.

Why Action is Necessary
In accordance with Section 21.47(a) of the Broward County Procurement Code, Board of County Commissioners (“Board”) approval is required because the contract value, inclusive of optional services, renewals terms and extensions, exceeds $500,000.
What Action Accomplishes
Extends the Agreement until November 18, 2029, with five additional one-year renewal periods; updates the scope of services, compensation, and payment schedule; adds optional website redesign services; and allows County agencies to continue receiving the technology products and services provided under the Agreement without interruption.

VISIT LAUDERDALE RECOMMENDS THE APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTIONS.
The Agreement was competitively procured in 2021 and approved by the Board on June 15, 2021 (Item No. 100). The Agreement was executed on November 19, 2021. Simpleview, LLC subsequently assigned its rights and obligations under the Agreement to Granicus, LLC (“Granicus”).
