A. MOTION TO APPROVE sole source standardization to Continental Blower LLC to provide all parts, maintenance, and repairs for the existing blower units in operations at the North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.
B. MOTION TO AWARD sole source open-end contract to Continental Blower LLC, for Continental Blower Parts, Maintenance, and Repairs, Quotation No. OPN2130129Q1, for Water and Wastewater Operations Division, in the initial one-year estimated amount of $168,531, including $10,000 in total allowances, and authorize the Director of Purchasing to renew the contract for up to four one-year periods, for a five-year potential estimated amount of $842,655.

Why Action is Necessary
Motion A: In accordance with Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.19(a), Standardization, the Board shall approve standardization for purchases above the award authority of the Director of Purchasing.
Motion B: In accordance with Broward County Procurement Code Section 21.47, Award and Execution Authority, the Board shall make all awards, and authorize the execution of the associated contracts, with a value of more than $500,000, inclusive of the value of any renewals or extensions provided for in the contract.
