Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The plat is located on approximately 3.8 acres, on the northeast corner of Flamingo Road and Southwest 14 Street, in the Town of Davie. The plat is restricted to 6,500 square feet of bank and 24,500 square feet of commercial use. The applicant is requesting to amend the note on the face of the plat to 3,500 square feet of bank and 45,000 square feet of commercial use.
